Generation.

youths nowadays are a boring lot.
i'm sick of how they just seem to follow the crowd.
they dont dare to be different, for fear of "losing face".
in a way they're mentally restricting themselves.
they're putting invisible boundaries between themselves and what they want to do.
they dont dare to try new things for fear of being ridiculed.
in a way they're enforcing conformity within their own sociial group.
thats the difference between me and you.
thats the reason why punk is mostly dead.
people used to define non conformity as not following the norms of the mainstream groups.
now?
you're apparently a non conformist if you dress, behave, think and act exactly like every other self-proclaimed rebel there is.
but i wouldnt expect someone who OWNS A FALL OUT BOY T SHIRT to understand that.
you dont even understand why metalheads care so much about band t shirts.
if you wear a t shirt, its a show of support for the ideals on it.
it shows that you're proud to support it.
thats why i kicked up such a fuss about your FALL OUT BOY t shirts.
technically and lyrically, fall out boy have absolutely no talent whatsoever.

lets take a look at some of my t shirts.

black sabbath
motorhead.
the clash

very great bands which i actually listen to and support.
unlike the posers who wear vintage band t shirts just because they're vintage and look cool.
unlike some poser who wears an acdc glove, but has never heard of the band.

and lemme define conformity as it relates to you.

intolerance of things that are out of the ordinary. (everytime one of you call me crazy)
fear of being seen as out of the ordinary. (everytime wilson says For what?)
fear of doing things not done by others.(ditto)
apathy towards things that do not directly affect yourself, just like every other mainstream youth.

which is, sadly, the mentality of more or less every1.
as ervin said, "must suit the majority".
famous words, for which i'll always remember as exemplifying the mindset of every single clone.
