Help Myanmar.

Myanmar is ruled by one of the most few remaining military dictatorships in the world. For decades the Burmese regime has fended off the voices demanding truth, freedom and democracy.
They have imprisoned such voices calling for freedom such as Aung San Suu Kyi. they have forced thousands in the provinces into forced labour in refugee camps.

Last Tuesday monks and nuns began marching and chanting prayers. They are leading the voices of freedom against their authoritarian regime. The protests spread—now they're growing by tens of thousands every day, as the people of Myanmar demand change. The Buddhist monks and nuns are the only ones numerous and influential enough to unite the people to boldly ask for freedom. You spend your life politically silent by choice. They yearn for a voice, but do not have the chance to speak. If you do not care about political expression, at least give them the chance for a voice.

The protestors grow more and more everyday as the people of Myanmar begin to demand change. They can win freedom for their country. Let this not end up like Tian An Men Square. This eerily reminds me of Pol Pot's regime. In the past military juntas have massacred demonstrators and crushed democracy. They are just asking for freedom. A basic human right. The right to choose. This time it can be different. But only if the world stands with Myanmar. I'm not asking you to take up arms. Just sign this petition to show your support.
