its some anime forum discussing people who dont like anime. like me.
honestly, their reasoning is just fucking weak.
dont they get it?
anime is just japanese cartoons.
they're watching cartoons.
what's wrong with that anyway?
i like the simpsons. and south park.
they just refuse to admit that they like cartoons.
its like butches.
they look and act and TRY TO sound like guys.
they just refuse to admit that they're girls.

this shit is just hilarious.

okok.
to be objective, lemme list out why i dont like anime.

1) exaggerated emotions like giant sweat drops.
thats just a bloody cliche. its been used over over and over again. it isnt even nice. it just makes me wanna smash the screen.

2) japanese-ness of it.
i dont like japan much. at least germany apologised for ww2. the jap bastards haven't.
and have i mentioned that they're a nation that emphasises CONFORMITY?

3) how they try to cutify everything.
i hate cute. it seems to convey a sense of weakness and a desire to be accepted and loved.
thats weakness. i've got it too duh. but can we at least make it not so blatant?

4) the japanese language.
i hate those anime purists who only watch it in japanese when there are dubbed versions.
and i hate people who spout japanese phrases in the presence of those who dont speak languages.
oh yeah. all of these people i mentioned aren't japanese.
look. i like nordic culture but you dont see me with notebooks full of norse runes, do you?
neither do i randomly speak some weird language.

5) weird impossible hairstyles.
ever realised that most anime characters, just like asian pop stars, have only a few hairstyles?
to put it that way, all of them look alike.

6) cosplay.
this i just dont understand.
whats the point, really?
