i just read something really stupidly biased.

it basically says that metal is bad for your brain.
why?
because apparently the jarring distortion kills your brain cells and that makes you a homicidal maniac.

and apparently some idiot killed his aunt after listening to pink floyd.
pink floyd's music is FAR from jarring.
in fact, i listen to pink floyd when i wanna relax, or have a headache.

well so apparently they say the distortion is what kills your brain cells.
so if people with little brain cells (which die as they age anyway) are pissed off killers.
then why arent all the old people murderers???

and they're assuming anyway that all hard rock and metal is homogenous. and that they all use distortion.

right.
grindcore uses distortion.
HENDRIX used distortion, though not as we know it with pedals and whatnot.

power metal doesnt use diistortion.
there're lotsa metal bands that dont use much distortion.

idiots.
